A wildly entertaining blend of martial arts action, comedy, romance and drama, Pedicab Driver comes from legendary Hong Kong filmmaker Sammo Hung (The Prodigal Son), who directs, produces and stars in this energetic kung-fu favourite.

Set in old Macau, Lo Tung (Sammo Hung) and his close friend Malted Candy (Max Mok, Once Upon a Time in China II–V) make a modest living as pedicab drivers. Between scraping by and getting caught up in one fight after another, the pair are also searching for romance. Their luck appears to change when each meets a woman they believe could be the love of their life.

Their hopes for happiness are soon complicated by the difficult circumstances surrounding the women, both of whom are trapped under the control of ruthless and abusive employers. Determined to help them find freedom, Lo and Malted Candy must navigate dangerous confrontations while trying to win their hearts.
